Fearless, confident, aspiring film-maker, 19-year old Inaaya is determined to follow her dreams and lands up at Modern University in Prem Nagar for a film-making course. She is passionate, progressive, and confident, unlike other girls around her who think twice before taking a step. Inaaya is haunted by a family secret which, at times, makes her pensive but is also a source of inspiration. The topic of her film project stirs up an undying controversy that makes her semester at Modern University far more difficult than what she imagined. She rallies forward, fearlessly, which ends up being a double-edged sword as she overcomes all hurdles but her image gets tainted in the eyes of everyone around her.
