How can you stop TB from re-occurring?

If you are diagnosed with TB, it is important to visit the nearest hospital and clinic and seek advice from a Tuberculosis specialist. Most Government hospitals have a Tuberculosis specialist.

The most important thing to remember is –

Complete the full course of medication prescribed

DO NOT stop your medications only a couple of weeks after the treatment has begun or when you start feeling better. If you leave your medications half-way through the course then chances are that the TB disease can reoccur. Consult your doctor before stopping the course of medication of all times to ensure that the TB Bacteria is no longer present in your body.
